Hi, I’m Anne

My approach is collaborative and person-centered. I want to help you to be the best version and story teller of you. I believe we all have the ability to heal, grow, and build resilience. Speaking from experience, I know that asking for help can be daunting, and sometimes scary, but we all deserve to be heard. As a therapist, my goal is to create a safe space for you to be vulnerable and work through challenges to enjoy the space between where you are and where you envision; with a little spice of humor in there too!

I’m here to be your sounding board and second pair of eyes to your life. I’m here to teach you functional, sustainable tools to handle what life may throw at you.

Therapy is unique to you, there isn’t a universal ‘solution’, but my aim is to work together to develop strategies to help make changes and cope with life’s challenges.

Who is the person behind the chair?

  • Hiking with my Bernese Mountain dogs is my happy place.

  • Podcasts and live music are my jam

  • In 2006, I was person of the year in Time Magazine — P.S YOU were too!

  • The Office is my sound machine

Help can come in so many different forms, as can what may bring you to therapy in the first place.

Life transitions, questioning career choices, working on unresolved anecdotes/traumas of life. I want to work together on unbundling “the mess” by exploring strengths, navigating challenges, and building upon this to grow.

My past areas of expertise have included working with individuals and families on an inpatient unit, facing mental health crisis. Due to the nature of this, I would consider my approach to be eclectic, drawing upon many perspectives, such as Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT) and Strengths Perspectives
