Hiya! My name’s Kirstie!

Take a deep breath… You’re in the right place, and I’m so glad you’re here.

First thing’s first, who’s the human in the chair!?

  • Classically trained musician with a B.S. in Contemporary Music Studies

  • Hudson Valley, NY native and lover of mountains and nature

  • Fur parent to a chaotic orange cat, Zelda, and a low riding foot stool of a dog, Ziggy

  • Cheesemonger in a former life, specifically in Scotland

  • Former barista with a severe caffeine addiction

Now that you know I’m just a regular human, let’s chat therapy!

What’s it like to be in therapy with me?!?

In our sessions, you can expect a mix of humor, patience, and genuine understanding. My goal is to create a space where open and honest conversations feel possible. Creating a safe, sincere, and supportive environment is my top priority, because every client deserves a space where their experiences are respected and understood. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all with me. What works for one person may not work for another — and that’s completely okay. Together, we’ll find tools, techniques, and exercises that work for your unique brain and experiences. Sometimes that might include worksheets or structured exercises, and other times it might look more creative — like poetry, collages, or playlists that help you connect with your emotions in a different way. In my work, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based approaches. I also offer EMDR therapy for clients who are interested in trauma-focused work or processing past experiences in a new way. I believe wholeheartedly in the power of therapy. My passion for this work has been shaped by my own experiences with generational trauma, lived trauma, and neurodivergence.

These experiences can feel incredibly heavy to carry alone. And the truth is, none of us are meant to carry everything by ourselves. Having the right support can make those burdens feel more manageable — and therapy can be a space where healing begins.

You’ve probably picked up on my humor, willingness to connect human to human and passion for the work we can do together. If that’s what you’re looking for in a therapist, let’s chat!

I can’t wait to meet you!

Totally in my element when I’m supporting…

  • Women and individuals in peri/postnatal seasons of anxiety and depression

  • Folks looking to unpack generational trauma and unhealthy patterns

  • Teens and young adults traversing life transitions and identity exploration

  • Couples spicing up their communication and connection
